BLAC, Inc. was founded in 1969 and incorporated in April 1970. The institution has: 1) a season of performing arts in music, dance, and theaters; 2) an Arts Integration Program through its Kennedy Ceenter’s Partners in Education program that trains classroom teachers and administration in all subjects in the curriculum using the arts; and 3) history and heritage programs for the public and special programming including touring programs that benefit youth.
